CHEMISTRY
The Department of Chemistry at Dr. Ghanshyam Mahavidyalaya was established in 2001 for Undergraduate programme and later for Post Graduate (Msc Chemistry) in 2005 with the aim of providing quality education and promoting scientific knowledge among students. Since its establishment, the department has focused on building strong conceptual understanding in Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry. Our goal is to develop skilled, knowledgeable, and research-oriented students who can contribute to science, education, industry, and society. The department combines classroom teaching with practical laboratory experience to ensure complete academic development.
The department has qualified and experienced faculty members, well-equipped laboratories, and a student-friendly learning environment. Regular practical classes, seminars, workshops, project work, and academic discussions help students improve their knowledge and confidence. We believe in encouraging curiosity, innovation, discipline, and scientific thinking among students for their successful future.
