DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT:
The Department of Management at Dr. Ghanshyam Singh Mahavidyalaya is a prominent academic unit dedicated to imparting quality education in management. The department began its journey with the introduction of the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) programme in 2008.
In UG every 3-year degree course is examined under semester system where 2 semesters constitute one academic year and 6 semesters in three years. Over the years, the department has witnessed steady growth and academic excellence. At present, it caters to approximately 170 students, reflecting its popularity and trust among learners in the region.
The department is equipped with qualified and experienced faculty members, appointed in accordance with UGC norms, ensuring high standards of teaching, research, and academic mentoring. The faculty is committed to fostering analytical thinking, professional competence, and ethical values among students.
The department emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, preparing students for careers in business, finance, academia, and entrepreneurship. Regular academic activities such as seminars, workshops, and guest lectures are organized to enrich students’ learning experience.
